_{Here I come with my third and last Final Fantasy XI drawing contest! This things always make me a bit nervous, I hope the choosen theme have a good welcome! Make me know? >A< I've been organizing this for long time, thanks for wait! Please be patient and read carefully all the info! If you have any question or don't understand my english, feel free to post it here or ask me by note. Okay, keep reading!}


06 FEB: First entry posted at the bottom, thank you ~aricka!! ^___^ I can't wait to see more! Remember that I can't give tips or critiques to the contestant, for avoid favoritism, I'll just wish good luck in each entry! Also GOOD NEWS! Since the Coffer had a nice welcome, I'm already working in more homemade prizes to add! And.. Thanks for all the publicity on the journals and clubs O_O wow.. this is getting big!? *nervous*!

03 FEB: Unbelievable!!! 40+ contestants already joined the party! Ohh I heard Besieged incoming, they're attacking Aht urghan! ROFL WHO CARES!!?? EVERYBODY, OFF DUTY!! I hope everybody can submit at least one entry, sounds very fun~!


Whaaat!?
You did that damn Limbus this morning! Now just finished Dynamis, and you have to go camping a NM? NO WAY! Forget about party, events, quest, missions... OFF DUTY! TODAY WE WILL RELAX!

What about a fun trip on the ferry, feeling the breeze and the water on your face! Then you could spend the sunny afternoon fishing at beach, or searching for seashells! That sure will make you hungry, you could solve it with a picnic while you enjoy the sunset! Ahhh, then is time to end the lovely day taking a rest with at the mog house? Perhaps you want to invite someone special for sharing that perfect day~? That sounds like a very good break from everything, right?

Ohh, I see! So you were thinking more about a night out! Having a drink and chatting with your friends? Oi! Drink here, laugh there, more drink... you'll end spanking some galka's ass! And you know who will have to bring you back home, huh? Yeah your poor moogle! ...Or perhaps he need some relax too, and he joins the party! Oh my, that sounds fun! I can feel already how all that stress vanishes for one night!

Doesn't matter if you need a break alone for relax, or you need all your friends for a great time together... Your character is off duty for one day, enjoy it! You can even kick out these heavy armors and get some comfortable outfit for your activities! (But remember that this is a FFXI contest, so keep the game feeling). Think in something that make us feel relaxed just staring at it and go for it!

_{They will value the feelings you put on it, as well as how you develope the theme. Try to express a feling of relax, of fun, of joy! There are many ways to spend a day off duty, pick your favourite one and go for it! Will also judge creativity and originality. Is not a big deal of technique, however will not the same if you have the greatest idea ever, and then draw it poorly and fast, right? Put some effort, you can do it! You can try add a fitting background (whatever is always better than white), pretty colors, special pose, awesome lineart, lot of friends having fun with you... You choose!}

RULES - IMPORTANT

<sub>I have every right to decline your entry, if I think it's against my rules! Please read all the rules before start drawing!

No limit of entries, but you will be able to win only ONE of the prizes!

Nudity, blood, violence... Okaaay, but keep it soft and subtle! Remember the main theme, allright? No gore, no porn, no explicit entries. If you got an idea and you're not sure if it's allowed, note me!

Drawings must be done after the contest starts, no recycled pieces. Old pieces or entries that doesn't fit the theme will be disqualified (sorry), don't cheat meee! Also, need to be done completly by you, colaborations are not allowed for avoid troubles with prizes!

All entries must be upload in deviantart. And if you can and want to, add a link to this journal there! Spread the word and help me to make the contest bigger! ^^

Traditional or digital media drawings are acepted, but please no manips or such! You're free to use screenshots, textures, anything for background or extra help, but please try draw your entry by yourself, it's a drawing contest after all!

Winners need to be ready to give me a real adress for send the prizes. If for some reason can't do it, only gonna receive digital prizes, and the phisical gifts will be given to the next winner.

If you win the contest, contact ONLY ME for the prizes. Please don't write the other artists/donators asking for request! I told them I'd do it for youuuu! ^__^</sub>
